About the Journal
Public Finance Notebook Magazine
The Cadernos de Finanças Públicas magazine started in 2000, at the initiative of the School of Farm Administration - ESAF, and, until 2016, 16 annual editions were published. In 2017, the publication started to be published every four months, with the objective of giving greater scope and timeliness to the promotion of applied research in the scope of public finances.
With the incorporation of ESAF by the National School of Public Administration - ENAP, the Secretariat of the National Treasury has shown interest in obtaining ownership of the publication in the Brazilian ISSN Center, managed by Ibict, from MCTIC. With the support of CODIN, the initiative was successful in 2019.
At that time, the publication is fully updated, having been published uninterruptedly in all its phases. The medium term objective is for the journal to qualify in the scientific editorial environment, following the evaluation criteria required by the CAPES “Qualis” classification.
The publication aims to encourage research, debate and reflection on ideas, concepts and practices within the scope of public finances, in the context of balanced public accounts and sustainable economic growth.
In this way, we invite economists, researchers and specialists to disseminate the publication and contribute to the submission of articles for future editions.
