Acesso ao Crédito Reduz Desigualdade Salarial de Gênero? Um Estudo Sobre Os Impactos do FNE nos Municípios Nordestinos

Resumo

A desigualdade de gênero ainda é um desafio estrutural no Brasil, particularmente no Nordeste. Assim, este artigo avalia o impacto da maior participação feminina nos financiamentos do FNE sobre o salário médio e a desigualdade salarial de gênero nos municípios dessa região. Utilizando o método de Escore de Propensão Generalizado (GPS), identificou-se que, em municípios onde mais de 60% do crédito foi direcionado a mulheres, verificou-se aumento nos salários femininos e redução da desigualdade salarial de gênero. Os efeitos se intensificam com o aumento dessa proporção, reforçando o crédito como ferramenta de empoderamento econômico.
