CADERNOS DE FINANÇAS PÚBLICAS
The magazine Cadernos de Finanças Públicas, ISSN 1806-8944, initially designed by the former School of Finance Administration of the Ministry of Economy, aims to foster research, debate and reflection on ideas, concepts and practices that, based on the highest democratic values and under the aegis rule of law, promote citizenship and human development, in the context of balancing public accounts and sustainable economic growth. The restructuring of the role of the state, in response to current and potential demands of society, brought with it direct consequences for the regulatory and producing faces of public goods and services, in defense of the citizen and national interests. The Public Finances must reconcile complex and interdependent structural and conjunctural factors, over which one does not always have governability, in search of the best set over time, with results translated into macroeconomic balance, competitiveness of the country and quality of life of citizens. Given the scope of public finances, the Notebooks will address the issue under multiple approaches, reflecting the actions of the National Treasury, which deals with issues related to fiscal education; baking for taxation; for good management and quality of public spending; by the topics of fiscal policy, macroeconomic, foreign trade and tax administration; issues related to decentralization, intergovernmental relations and modernization processes of public administration; for governance and digital transformation within the public sector; fiscal federalism; as well as the insertion of the country in the context of the world economy and the economic blocs.

TEXTOS PARA DISCUSSÃO
Série de Textos para Discussão
A série de Textos para Discussão do Tesouro Nacional aspira a ser instrumento consolidado de produção e difusão do conhecimento acerca dos temas de interesse da STN, a fim de estimular a incidência do debate sobre finanças públicas na agenda nacional.
A série pretende fomentar a produção acadêmica, assim como a de proposições práticas, ancoradas em estudos e pesquisas, de modo a fazer avançar a fronteira do conhecimento em áreas relevantes para a tomada de decisão pública e privada no país.
Por fim, a série procura estimular a produção teórica e a reflexão crítica que tenha por base o uso estruturado dos dados produzidos e consolidados pelo Tesouro Nacional – como aqueles disponíveis no portal Tesouro Transparente – mas não somente, com o intuito de trazer maior publicidade e instrumentalidade às informações geradas pela instituição.
