About the decision making process

The journal adopts a desk-rejection policy, whereby the Editorial Committee, after a preliminary review of the article with the assistance of Associate Editors, may decide to reject it without referring it to reviewers if the article (i ) does not provide an original contribution, (ii) is not based on a rigorous methodology, (iii) does not meet any of the formal requirements mentioned above (regarding, for example, formatting, page limits, and anonymity in the body of the article and in (iv) has a careless or wordy wording, or (v) does not align with the scope of the journal.

Given the high number of submissions and the limited availability of reviewers, it is expected that authors whose papers will be accepted for publication in the journal will collaborate as reviewers.

If the first round decision is to review and resubmit the article, the new version must be delivered within four months, after which the article may be excluded from the evaluation process.

The resubmission of a new version must be accompanied by a text addressed to each of the evaluators, in which the author must specify the changes made in the light of the recommendations and criticisms received (reporting the corresponding locations on the pages of the article) and provide detailed arguments mainly. about issues where the evaluators were not answered. The file with the new version should highlight changes in bold or another color.

About accepted articles

Digital proofs of articles accepted for publication will be sent to the author, who must verify within 30 days. If there is no manifestation of the author, the article will be published in the format of the tests.
